Wild Pack Rocks the House of Blues

May 18, 2016 - The Blues Against Hunger at the House of Blues in San Diego was a great success. We collected two 50 Gallon barrels of food for folks at San Diego Rescue Mission. The event featured a performance by Chet Cannon and the Committee, the Wild Pack band and an all-star blues jam. 

Wild Pack was very pleased to have two good friends, great musicians and former members of the Wild Pack (whenever possible); Phillip Singletary on sax, and Jason Bushong on guitar

All the proceeds and donation went to support the San Diego Rescue Mission. Thanks to RosaLea Schiavone and JammingOut.Net, Chet Cannon, all the musicians and all those that donated. Photos by Joell Ortizz.

Come out and enjoy a night blues at the House of Blues on 1055 Fifth Ave, San Diego on Wednesday, May 18 from 7PM - 11PM. Join Chet Cannon and the Committee, along with Wild Pack and other special guests. Let's come together and make a joyous sound and difference.

The blues concert and jam is presentation of Jammingout.Net and is a food drive to benefit the San Diego Rescue Mission. The event is FREE, however they are asking for a non-perishable food donation. In addition to a jam with popular blues musicians from the region, the event also includes a concert performances by Chet Cannon & The Committee an award winning band that has been playing blues in San Diego since 2001, and the leader of the group Chet Cannon is known to be a “terminal blues fan”. Also performing is Wild Pack, a hard-hitting blues trio from Mexico that combines old school blues with a heavy blues
